Twilight Aura releases new single "Laws of Life" feat. Andre Matos

Power metal band Twilight Aura has released a new video and single, “Laws of Life”, the second single from their upcoming album Believe. The track features the late great Andre Matos (ANGRA) on vocals.

“When the band Skyscraper, which I was part of before Angra, recorded this song on a demo tape in early 1992, we called Andre Matos to help us and record some backing vocals and keyboards, which he readily agreed to do”, says guitarist Andre Bastos. “Now, 33 years after that recording, we decided to revisit that song to include it on the new album.

To bring back the magic of those times, we were able to recover Andre’s voices and add them to this re-recording. The voices of the unforgettable maestro can be clearly heard during the choruses.” To make the track even more special, the group invited also Daniel Matos, Andre’s brother and current bassist for VIPER, for bass and additional vocal duties. On drums, Fabio Elsas — brother of guitarist Rodolfo Elsas — completes the line-up. The keyboards were played by Leo Loebenberg, who added striking and creative lines, reinforcing the epic atmosphere that the song demanded.

Andre Bastos adds: “Releasing ‘Laws of Life’ with Twilight Aura, with all these guests, is an achievement that is difficult to express in words, but it moves everyone who has heard this song in the past and will surprise anyone who hears it for the first time.” Reinforcing this feeling, Daniel Matos comments: "Participating in this recording was a way to be close to several memories and wonderful people from the past! I thank the Twilight Aura team for that!".

The band's second album, Believe, will be released in June and the CD can already be pre-ordered through the Psychomanteum Store. Andre Bastos and Tito Falaschi were responsible for the production, while the artwork was signed by Juh Leidl.
