Twilight Aura, the power metal project from ex-ANGRA guitarist André Bastos, has released Believe, their second studio album! The band shows artistic maturity by incorporating elements of hard rock, progressive rock and emotional ballads, without losing its power metal identity. "In this new album, we venture into other styles. We have more catchy Hard Rock music ('Sacred Earth' and 'Hold me Tight'), more prog ('Real World')," reveals André. "But we also kept our power/melodic style ('Right Thing' and 'Laws of Life').

This work is a natural evolution of the debut album, “For a Better World” (2022), with lyrics that address social, emotional and spiritual quests. Believe brings together positive messages and deep reflections, such as “Real World”, which talks about fake news, and “Right Thing”, which deals with climate changes. There are songs like “One Day at a Time” and “Yourself Again”, where the band sensibly addresses the challenges and emotional turmoil. “Coming Home” and “Believe” stand out for tracing a comforting and sincere spirituality. The album is a complete sonic journey.
One of the most exciting moments on the album is “Coming Home”, which features the participation of Fabio Caldeira (Maestrick) and Marcel Ribas. Fabio Caldeira relates: "For me, receiving the invitation of my great friend André Bastos to participate in this beautiful music was a great present. As soon as I heard the song. I connected immediately with it, even more knowing that I would be sharing the vocals with my dear friend Daísa Munhoz." The recording of the clip, according to Caldeira, was marked by a personal loss and by a lot of emotion: “The memories and emotions of that moment will be forever cherished.”
Believe also features the participation of big names such as Jeff Scott Soto, BJ, Felipe Andreoli (Angra), as well as an exciting tribute to the late Andre Matos, who participates in the “Laws of Life” song alongside his brother Daniel Matos and the drummer Fabio Elsas. The production of the album was conducted by Andre Bastos and Tito Falaschi, who also performed the mixing and mastering. The artwork was created by Juh Leidl, completing the visual package of the album. Every detail was thought to translate into the group’s new phase.
The video clip for “Coming Home” is now available online and was directed by Daniel Mazza, who captured the entire atmosphere of fulfillment experienced by the musicians during the recordings. “This song is very special because it has a very strong spiritual meaning for us,” comments Andre Bastos. “It addresses what really matters during our passage here on Earth.” The result is a true celebration of music as healing and connection.
Originally formed in 1993, Twilight Aura was reborn in 2021 with a new line-up and renewed spirit. Today, the band is made up of Andre Bastos (guitar), Rodolfo Elsas (guitar), Filipe Guerra (bass), Leo Loebenberg (keyboards), Claudio Reis (drums) and Daísa Munhoz (vocals). Known by her work in the bands Soulspell and Vandroya, Munhoz brought a fresh new sound and vocal power in her group. A fusion of influences between the 80s and 90s with a modern production takes place in a new phase of the band.

Believe is available on all major streaming platforms and on CD from Psychomanteum Records. Twilight Aura proves that it is possible to evolve without losing its essence. Listen to it now and allow yourself to believe.
